Hattiban Rock Climbing

Hattiban is one of the best outdoor rock climbing destinations near Kathmandu, Nepal, offering thrilling climbs with stunning views of the valley. Located about 20 km from Thamel, it takes approximately 45 minutes to reach by vehicle. This area is particularly popular among experienced climbers looking for challenging routes.

For those preparing for a mountain expedition or winding down after one, Hattiban provides an excellent opportunity to train, relax, and test their skills. The limestone rock is dry and features mostly single-pitch routes, making it a great spot for sport climbing.

There are over 30 bolted routes spread across three different climbing sectors, offering a variety of challenges for climbers.
