Merci !

  • Great course!

Excellent Alpine Climbing Course My partner and I had an incredible experience in the alpine climbing course organized by Tulsi and Kishan. The course took place in the stunning Langtang region, offering a challenging and rewarding adventure in harsh cold conditions. During the course, we learned essential skills such as walking on snow and ice, using alpine climbing equipment like ice axes and crampons, safe glacier travel, and basic rescue techniques. The instructors, led by Anup, were highly professional and trustworthy. All instructors are certified IFMGA mountain guides, ensuring a top-level, safe, and clear learning experience throughout. The entire process with Tulsi and Kishan, who are among the most experienced mountain guides in Nepal and also run the company, was smooth, professional, and pleasant. The registration and information process was clear and straightforward, and the price was fair. Special mention goes to the kitchen staff, who went above and beyond to provide hot and delicious meals under challenging conditions. Their care and attention to detail made a huge difference. Overall, an amazing and professional course that gave us practical tools and unforgettable memories. Highly recommended!

  • Great team, trustworthy and safe!

Great team, trustworthy and safe, the ingredients we need for a great adventure. When originally planning my trip, I had concerns about trust and safety. I first found about Himalaya Summit Club and owner Tulsi Gurung on Netflix’s documentary “Aftershock: Everest and the Nepal Earthquake”. This gave me a good level of confidence. Then I reached out and immediately got his reply with a suggested itinerary and options. During the trip, it was flawless. Our guide Bhabi was very fluent in English, knowledgeable of the trek (I think we were his 19th journey) and always aware of our readiness and reactions to the altitude. During the second day of our way back I got food poisoning and because of vomiting I could not take and keep medicines. So I requested to be evacuated to Kathmandu, and they reacted quickly and by lunch time I was in Kathmandu. In summary, on the way up they delivered a great experience and on the way back they delivered the safety and care I needed. I could not ask for more! I would also say that pricing was very reasonable and they offer several options for different budgets and adventure goals! Definitely recommend HSC, Tulsi and Bhabi for your trip to Nepal!!

  • Wonderful first time

It was some of our first times doing a multi-day hike with a basic level of fitness, attempting EBC. Our guide Rakesh Gurung took really good care of us despite our fitness and bodily inadequacies. He was really knowledgeable about the mountains and shared with us a lot about the cultures of the places we've been to. We constantly threw pop quizzes at him on what mountains are we looking at, how long will the journey be and he was always so accurate with the estimations and that gave us a really strong sense of security. Along the way, he was quick to spot wildlife, took initiatives to explain the traditional activities of the area and was really eager to put our needs first by giving us well thought-out advice. I believe our trek couldn't have been more successful and pleasant. Also, our team of porters were such a dear to be around, always greeting us and smiling at us. Our porters, Ramji and Suman are extremely experienced and always looked out for us despite our language barriers. Prior to the trip, I had my fair share of doubts as I have heard of horror stories about guides being unethical with their practices and prioritizing money over their clients but it was not the case with Rakesh's team. Also biggest thanks to Tulsi for helping arrange this wonderful experience and making us feel so welcomed. We were so blessed and would definitely come back to experience Nepal! :)

Anup was able to guage his group and provide excellent training and coaching in order to best progress the students climbing ability, in a very adventurous while also extremely dangerous environment. A highly competent and capable guide. While the main goal is the teach skills, the summit of Tsorku Peak 5780m was a great bonus to the course. Our guide Anup and Junior guide Uttam were both great teachers and very professional. We received a great amount of training that prepared us well for the summit push as well as for future climbs, the food was great and the logistics were all perfect. The group was very well looked after.

  • Did the Himalayan Mountaineering Course with Himalaya Summit Club

Did the beginners mountaineering course with Himalaya Summit Club. An amazing way to experience the Nepal climbing scene and some of Nepal’s most amazing treks and sights. Tulsi and the other guides are professional, helpful and very fun! Not just during the course, but they also helped me with recommendations and planning my trip in Nepal afterwards.
Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a more adventurous time in Nepal.

  • An intro to mountaineering in the breathtaking Himalayas with Tulsi and other incredible guides

I recently summited Baden-Powell Scout peak in the Langtang region as part of the 20-day Himalayan Mountaineering level I course with Tulsi and a large team of guides and helpers. It was an unreal experience. The course confronted us with the realities of life at high-altitude. We were pushed to our limits, and empowered by our guides to overcome doubts in ourselves, however Tulsi still placed safety as the utmost priority. When members of my team felt ill he took it very seriously and made responsible decisions with their well-being as the deciding factor. Our guides were always a calm, supportive presence, and the most interesting people to chat with while trekking and discover how life in Nepal is like! They also attended to our every need, showed us genuine care, and always had hot tea ready for us! I felt lucky to be learning from Tulsi who had so much expertise and experience in the mountains. I came away from the course with a wealth of knowledge about rope systems, building anchors, traversing glaciers safely, crevasse rescue. By the end of the course, the team of guides and helpers really felt like family. Tulsi organized everything for us up to our airport transit and our stay in Kathmandu and treated us like family too. I can’t wait to come back to Nepal sometime soon.
