The magnificent Mt. Ama Dablam (6,856m)is located duesouth of the mighty Everest (8848m) and is one of the most technical and challenging mountains to climb. As one of the most magnificent peaks in all the Himalayas, Ama Dablam is admired and respected by trekkers and climbers all around the world. The trek package combinesmountain climbing with the scenic trekking route andSherpa culture making it one of the most exciting and enjoyable adventures in the Khumbu region.

The 40-day trip starts with your arrival in Kathmandu. From Kathmandu, you take a scenic flight over the high mountains and land in Lukla. The trail follows the normal trekking route up the Khumbu valley and makes its way through Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is also known as the gateway to Everest and is the trading hub of the region. After acclimatization at Namche, youmove ahead to see the Tengboche monastery and continue the trek to Dingboche. On the way, you pass through beautiful pine and rhododendron forests enjoying tantalizing sceneries of the high Himalayas.Before heading towards the Ama DablamBase Camp, you hike to NangkarTshang Peak (5,616m) and follow with a trek to the Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar viewpoint.From Kalapatthar, you can witness the panoramic views ofEverest (8,848m),AmaDablam (6,856m), Lhotse (8,516m),Nuptse (7,861m), Lobuche peak (61,19m), Mt. PumoRi (7,165m), and many other mountains.Descending along Lobuche and Pheriche, you reach the Ama Dablam Base Camp. Making a gradual ascent to Camp I, II, and III, the expedition reaches its climax at the summit of the Ama Dablam (6,856m). After conquering the summit of Mt Ama Dablam, you head back to Namche and then trek downhill to Lukla.The Ama Dablam Expedition demands expertise on mountaineering and strenuous walks.
