Day 1 Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu (1300m)

Day 2 Day 02: Full day Kathmandu Sightseeing
Today you’ll embark on a cultural sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu valley. The history of Kathmandu is as old as the folktales go. During the cultural tour, you’ll get to witness some of the popular UNESCO World Heritage Sites including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, and Pashupatinath temple. These sites are of great significance to both the cultural and religious prosperity in the valley. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu. -
Day 3 Day 03: Kathmandu drive to Sybrubensi (1550m)7 Hrs
After an early morning breakfast, you’ll embark on a road journey to the northwest of Kathmandu. Leaving Kathmandu, the road follows the Trishuli River and crosses Dhunche before arriving at Sybrubensi. Sybrubensi is a small town lying in the foothills of Himalaya in the Rasuwa district. Spanning almost 80km from Kathmandu, you’ll drive to Sybrubensi is 7hr. Overnight stay at Sybrubensi.

Day 4 Day 04: Trek Sybrubensi to Lama Hotel (2410m)5-6 Hrs
The trek commences at Sybrubensi. You’ll make a slow ascent of the hills and advance northward inside the Langtang National Park. The trekking will be filled with the mesmerizing scenery of the hills, mountains, lush forests, and culturally rich Tamang villages. You’ll walk along the Bhote Koshi River and follow the trail upstream along the Langtang Khola to Lama Hotel. Overnight stay at Lama Hotel.

Day 5 Day 05: Lama Hotel trek to Langtang Village (3430m)4-5 Hrs
You’ll embark from Lama Hotel and ascent forward through the dense forest towards Ghodatabela. Ghodatabela offers a unique sight of the nearby mountains including Langtang Lirung (7227m), Tserko Ri (4984m), and Shishapangma (8013m). You cross Thangshyap before reaching Langtang village. The small settlement of Langtang village is located at the foot of Langtang Lirung (7227m). Overnight stay at Langtang Village.

Day 6 Day 06: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3870m) 5-6 Hrs
Today, you’ll hike further up from Langtang village and make your way into the mountains in the north. Kyanjin Gompa is a small Tibetan Buddhist stupa located 6.8km from Langtang Village. Almost 5-6hr of trek uphill will bring you to Kyanjin Gompa. Located amidst the mountains, from here you can enjoy quite an amazing sight of the surrounding peaks namely Mount Gangchempo (6387m) and Langtang Lirung (7227m). Overnight stay at Kyanjin Gompa.

Day 7 Day 07: Acclimatization/Rest day in Kyanjin
Believed to be the oldest Buddhist stupa in the area, you can find many similarities to the Tibetan architecture and style. You will make a short hike to Kyanjin Ri (4350m), a local peak before making your way back to Kyanjin village. Visiting the recently re-opened cheese factory and the mini-hydropower are another highlights of the trek. Overnight stay at Kyanjin Gompa.

Day 8 Day 08: Kyanjin Gompa trekking to Nekgang (4000m)5-6 Hrs
The short trail across the Langtang Khola below the Kyanjin Gompa and a steep climb along the ridge through the lush juniper and rhododendron forests will bring you to Nekgang. Nekgang lies en route to Ganja La Pass (5130m). It provides a good point to rest for the night before approaching the high-mountain pass of Ganja La the next day.

Day 9 Day 09: Nekgang trekking to Ganja-La pass (5130m) to Geldang (4270m)6-7 Hrs
You’ll start trekking to the south of the campsite and start ascending the pass. The climb will be difficult to undertake due to the snow on the trail. Turning south-west, you’ll make a final steep climb towards the top of the Ganja La Pass at 5130m. To the north, you’ll witness Langtang Lirung (7227m) and the snow peak inside Tibet including Shishapangma (8013m). On a clear day, you can witness many other mountains down the south. You’ll descend down the pass through the Yangri Khola towards Geldang. Overnight stay at Geldang.

Day 10 Day 10: Geldang to Dhukpa (4040m)|5-6 Hrs
Trekking further down, you’ll make a rather long journey along the ridge towards Dhukpa. During winters, there is less or none water from Geldang to the bottom of the ridge, however, monsoon, spring, and autumn offers enough water en route. You’ll make a descent from Geldang and move southeast to the village of Dhukpa. Overnight stay at Dhukpa.

Day 11 Day 11: Dhukpa trekking to Tarkeghyang (2590m)| 5-6 Hrs
You’ll descend further along the ridge and make a 180m climb to a high-pass at 4020m. From the top, you’ll witness the magnificent views of Dorje Lakpa (6966m), and Everest and Numbur ranges in as far as Khumbu valley. You’ll descend further and trek through the pine and rhododendron forest towards Tarkeghyang through Gekye Gompa and Ama Yangri Danda. From here, you can get a great view of the nearby Helambu village. Overnight stay at Tarkeghyang

Day 12 Day 12: Tarkeghyang to Sermathang (2610m)|5-6 Hrs
The area is mostly inhabited by Sherpa tribe of people. You’ll leave Tarkeghyang and make your way towards the next village of Ghangyul. The inhabitants practice Drukpa Kagyu Buddhism, which is similar to the official religion of Bhutan. The trail drops further and crosses the deep forests towards the large gompa at Chumik, before gently climbing to the village of Sermathang. Overnight stay at Sermathang.

Day 13 Day 13: Melamchi drive back to Kathmandu . 4 Hrs
From Sermathang, you’ll make a steep descent towards Melamchi Pul Bazaar. The trail passes a Chorten towards the village of Niggle. You’ll cross the last Sherpa village at Kakani and enter the valley inhabited by Brahmins and Chhetri. From Kakani, the trail drops to Taplethok village. Further down the ridge, you’ll reach a large suspension bridge over the Indrawati River. From Melamchi, you’ll take a commute back to Kathmandu. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 14 Day 14: Free day in Kathmandu
Today is a free day in Kathmandu. You can simply choose to relax at the hotel or go out to enjoy the beautiful Kathmandu city. The city boasts plenty of other attractions and three other World Heritage Sites. Durbar Squares in Bhaktapur and Patan, Changunarayan, and Budhanikantha are a few of the sites in Kathmandu. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 15 Day 15: Farewell Departure
Our representative will drop you off to the airport today. You’ll leave approximately 2hrs early to avoid any traffic congestion or delay.
