The trip starts with your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m).

Day 2 Fly to Lukla from Kathmandu(2,840m) and Trek to Phakding (2,610m).
In the morning, you'll fly from Kathmandu to Lukla; Tenzing Hillary Airport at Lukla has considered as one of the most dangerous airport in the world. The flight takes around 30 to 35 minutes, this can be very slightly depending on weather condition and air traffic. It has a short treacherous runway. You meet the rest of the crew in Lukla and after a short break the trek starts to Phakding from Lukla, you trace the path along the Dudh Koshi River, Chauri Kharka village. Overnight stay at Phakding.

Day 3 Phakding (2,610m) – Namche Bazar (3,440m).
Heading to the north from Phakding, you pass a checkpoint at Monjo where you have to register your trekking permits.The trail leads you into the Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO listed natural site. The trail then makes a steep climb after crossing the Hilary suspension bridge and then you'll reach to Namche Bazaar which is known as the gateway to Everest. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.

Day 4 Namche Bazaar (3,440m) (Acclimatized/Rest Day)
Namche is the touristic hub in Everest region so take your time to experience. Namche offers you numerous places to visit. Among them, Everest Photo Gallery and Sherpa Culture Museum are the key. If you wish, you can also hike up to Everest View Hotel-3880m, the perfect point for panoramic views of the Everest Himalayas.

Day 5 Namche Bazar (3,440m) – Debohe (3,820m).
Heading to the north-east from the trade hub of Everest, Namche, the trail leads you to Sanasa. Following the Dudh Koshi River, the rhododendron-lades trails also offer surreal interaction with the local wildlife. Passing Phunki Thanga, the trek reaches Tengboche where you can explore the Tengboche Monastery. Further ahead lies Deboche. Overnight stay at Deboche.

Day 6 Deboche (3,820m) – Dingboche (4,410m).
As the altitude mark on the trek crosses 4,000-meter mark on this day, we tread carefully on steep trails with sparse vegetation. Crossing Pangboche, you reach Chulungche. Following the Imja River, the trek goes through Shomare. A little ahead, you reach a junction with two crossroads. Taking the one on the right, you head to Dingboche. Overnight stay at Dingboche.

Day 7 Acclimatize day and Hike to Nagarjun peak (5,080m).
On this day, you rest and acclimatize to the climate as the altitude on the trek reaches a staggering number of 4,410 meters. At Dingboche, you can explore the Sherpa settlements and local areas around the village, can visit mountain caffe. A hike to Nangkar Tshang (5,080m) reveals a panorama of Makalu (8,463m), Lhotse (8,516m), Lhotse Shar (8,393m), and Island Peak (6,189m). After witnessing such glorious views, then you'll descend back to Dingboche. Stay overnight at Dingboche.

Day 8 Dingboche (4,410m) – Lobuche (4,910m).
You leave Dingboche for Lobuche early in the morning. The trek takes you through the beautiful Khumbu glacier and scenic icefalls. You soon reach the Everest memorial park for trekkers who lost their lives trying to conquer the Mount Everest (8,848m). The path ahead climbs gently along the glacier and takes you to the cluster houses of Lobuche. Overnight stay at Lobuche.

Day 9 Lobuche (4,910m) – Everest Base Camp (5,364m) – Gorakshep (5,170m).
The day, for which you have been dreaming. You head towards the Everest Base Camp having a lunch at Gorakshep. The trail offers spectacular views of the snow-capped mountains. Upon arrival at the base camp, you find yourself surrounded by the highest mountains of the world by all side. The Khumbu Glacier and Icefall also combine to form mesmerizing sights. You spend some time at the base camp then continue the trek back to Gorakshep then stay overnight there.

Day 10 Gorakshep (5,170m) – Kalapatthar (5,555m) – Pheriche (4,270m).
The trek starts early in the morning as you hike to Kalapatthar. It is a vantage point to enjoy the views of the mountains like Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Nuptse (7,861 m), Lhotse (8,516 m), Ama Dablam (6,856 m) and several others. As we aim to beat the sun on reaching the viewpoint, the sunrise from Kalapatthar is one of the main attractions of the entire trek. You spend some time at Kalapatthar and then descend down gently to arrive at Pheriche. Overnight stay at Pheriche.

Day 11 Pheriche (4,270m) - Namche Bazaar (3,440m).
The trail takes you to Debuche and leads to Tengboche. Later, you descend to Phunki Thanga and, then trek to Namche Bazaar. This will be a long and a little bit tiring day of trekking so upon arrival at Namche you can go to your hotel room and relax. The town will also serve you greatly with Sherpa's culture and hospitality. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.

Day 12 Namche Bazaar (3,440m) - Lukla (2,840m).
This is the final day of trekking. Leaving Namche, you walk downhill and exit Sagarmatha National Park at Manjo. The trail passes through the local villages and takes you back to Lukla via Phakding. Later, in the evening, you can have a small get together party with the your team(Guides & Porters) and enjoy the local beverages. Overnight stay at Lukla.

Day 13 Lukla(2,840m) – Kathmandu (1,350m).
You take an early morning flight from Lukla and head back to Kathmandu. Due to the changing weather, it is the best to take the morning flight. You arrive in Kathmandu under an hour so you will have plenty of time to enjoy the city. Alternatively, you can rest and relish the memories of the trek. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 14 Kathmandu (1,300m) Explore Kathmandu
On the 14th day, our tour guide will take you out for sightseeing. You will mostly be visiting the UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kathmandu. Beginning with the tour to the Swayambhunath temple to the north-west of the Kathmandu Valley, the excursion of the Kathmandu Durbar Square is next on the list. As we move to Pashupatinath, the revered Hindu temple, the tour of the Kathmandu Valley comes to an end. If you wish you can also do some souvenir shopping especially around the Thamel area.Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 15 Kathmandu – Onward Destination.
The 15-day trip comes to an end today. If you want to extend the stay in Nepal and start another adventure, you can talk to our company representative. If not then, our company representative will take you to the airport in our comfortable company van.
